Skycourts update 24th October 2009

Tower A leads as far as level of construction work is concerned, glass paneling has reached the last floor. Other towers to follow are D, B, E, C and F. I guess ending Q1’2010 would be reasonable time to expect possession.

Great pictures! Thanks so much.

By the way, since the construction speed seems to be different for each tower, do you expect possession schedule to be different for each tower?

Hi Hasan,

Looking to the various design aspects like the approach and common amenities like internal landscaping, terrace gardens, restaurants, pools, retail area … I don’t think the handover would be in phases.

Hi everyone,
I too have taken mortgage from Dubai bank for my property in Skycourts.
Few things I like to share:
1) Spoke to Dubai Bank on the interest/profit rate being charged on to customers!
Reply: Dubai Bank are in talks with the developer for charging till December, and from Jan onwards it should be borne by the developer.
2) Interest rate to be reduced to 6%.
Reply : Compared to other banks we are still competitive and no reson for Dubai Bank to reduce rates.
3) Handover dates for Skycourts.
Reply: In phases, First, Tower A & D,
Second, Tower B & E,
Finally Tower C & F.
4) When does handover take place?
Reply: Probably from March onwards in phases.

A Very Good Day to All of You.

It would be a nice time for all of us to meet together and form couple of teams to meet up with our respective banks / financiers and negotiate a better deal. Hopefully we will get a favourable decision now even if it is only 5 to 10 owners group together & meet the respective officers. With the developments here, it may be too late for us to delay this until 2010.

I have received suggestions to meet up this Friday, 11th December at 6:00 PM at a common place like Zabeel Park (StarGate Entrance) whereby we can decide upon a day & time in the comming week when we can as a group meet up with the concerned officials.

Kindly let me know if it will be possible for most of us to meet at the suggested venue at the suggested time & date to proceed further with regards to the action plan for the comming week.

Dear Mahesh, I too have a loan from Dubai Bank, They say irrespective of the delay all the interest would be borne by me as the contract says so. Please clarify again, guess their statements fluctuate on a daily basis.
