I heard that Deyaar is handing over the Sky Court Project back to National Properties.
when is the handover dates due for skycourts???
also has anyone heard from Deyaar re progress reports. Im curious to see if the interiors have been completed.
National Properties is the owner, Deyaar is just property manager, ownership has never changed since inception, there are many rumours going round.
It is heard that the first handover (Tower A & D) would begin from September 2010. Project seems to be running at brisk speed.

I am unsure of the handover dates etc, however Its National Bonds and not National Properties. This is a huge differernce in current climates.
What's the deal with compensations for the delay. Has anyone probed Deyaar officially? Handover would have been more than 15 months late if they deliver in September onwards. I would like to see them compensate me for the rent I had to pay.
Handover date was June 30th 2009 as per contract 31 March 2009Article 6.1 of the contract says they can extend by six months which will be 30th December 2009. Thus the provider, Skycourts have now been in default for almost six months without explanation.Clearly it is time to see a lawyer and ask what are our rights for refund or compensation or both.
As a first time contributer to this blog we do not know if this has been done but are prepared to contribute. J&A
As such until now there no legal recourse by any member as per my knowledge.

Ok, I think it's time to bring out the heavy language...
Deyaar and/or National Bonds are Liars, thugs and Theives.
The money is paid upfront by us or our banks. Price of construction has halved since the financial crisis, and due to all the other cancelled projects in this land, labor and equipment are readily available... Bottom line is this: The crisis can not be used as an explanation for what has happened. If anything, it should have been in our favor... The only thing I can think of is that someone has channeled OUR money to other projects OR has made for the border with a huge stash. Either way, its STEALING. and Stealing as per the laws of this land, is a crime. I believe from a legal standpoint, we have a criminal case on our hand... the evidence is the delay...
Now, for those who made it for the meeting/meetings/social gatherings, has any of this stuff been discussed? are there minutes?
I refuse to sit here while my hard earned money (and that's not just a figure of speach) is being pissed down the arabian gulf.
I'm going for a lawyer
Is there any update from Dubai Bank regarding reducing the interest rates? Has anyone of you managed to negotiate with Dubai Bank?
The other important issue is - we should not take the property unless it is fully ready - or else i have seen in many other cases the developer and bank agree on the handover date and the bank releases the amount to the developer while the property is not fully ready!
Any idea if the property in the middle of the desert can fetch any rental?
Sad that Dubai is not taking note of such organised crime by the developers, and letting this tarnish the good work the rulers and Shk. Mohd is doing!
Deyaar have now been officially removed from the project and replaced by Harbor Real estate so we should contact these people and ask them for an update. In addition we should all ask them about price reduction even if we can get them to remove the 2% moving in fee it would help.As regards bank rate and interest charges these will not be reduced in the near future. For letting the property in the middle of the desert I think the location will be OK. I visited the site this week and it is progressing. The surrondings are untidy but what to expect on a building site. On the positive side the location is exactly 20 mins from the new Dubai World Central Airport which opened this week, literally a six lane highway door to door. Perhaps now is the time to liaise with an agent such as Better Homes and see if they are taking advance bookings for cabin crew etc. It is 15 mins from Dubai Airport and 20 mins from Sharjah.
